Maintenance of Certification Part II Lifelong Learning & Self-Assessment Requirements
- Complete four ABEM Lifelong Learning and Self-Assessment (LLSA) tests during the first five years and during the second five years of the diplomate’s 10-year certification.
- Diplomates are required to complete an average of 25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™, or equivalent, per year averaged over five years. An average of eight of the credits per year must be self-assessment. ABEM diplomates may select any CME activities that meet these criteria and are relevant to their practice to fulfill this requirement.
