Dr. Christopher S. Candler is an Associate Professor of Medicine and serves as the Senior Associate Dean for Academic Affairs at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. Dr. Candler received a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from Oklahoma State University and a M.D. from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. He subsequently obtained a doctorate in education from the University of Arkansas. During his sixteen years in medical education he has served in a variety of administrative and leadership roles.

Robby Reynolds received his undergraduate degree in Public Administration at Henderson State University. He subsequently completed his Masters in Public Administration with an emphasis in Health Care Administration at Florida State University where he also served two years as Continuing Education Coordinator for the Center of Professional Development (CPD). Robby joined Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in 1999 where he served for three years as the Director of Curriculum Advancement developing their web based electronic curriculum.

Robby joined the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) in 2002 as Assistant Director of Educational Resources with the primary responsibility of leading the development and promotion of a national curriculum database for the AAMC's 146 US and Canadian member medical schools. In 2005 Robby took on the new responsibility of Director of Educational Resources and co-founded MedEdPORTAL. Robby has been instrumental in the creation, development, and promotion of MedEdPORTAL which is an internationally available online publication service that promotes the sharing of high quality peer-reviewed medical educational materials.

Since 2002, Robby has conducted over 150 presentations and faculty development workshops focused on the development and management of medical school curricula and the value of educational scholarship for teaching. These workshops and presentations were conducted at national and international medical education conferences and at individual medical schools across the US and Canada.
