Dr. Grace C. Huang is an associate professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School (HMS) and a hospitalist at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) in Boston.  Dr. Huang majored in English and Biological Sciences at Stanford University and attended medical school at Washington University in St. Louis, followed by an internal medicine residency at BIDMC. She subsequently completed a Rabkin Fellowship in Medical Education, an Academy Fellowship in Medical Education at HMS, and a Picker Fellowship in evidence-based medicine.  She holds several leadership roles in faculty development, as Director of the Rabkin Fellowship in Medical Education, Co-Director of the BIDMC Academy of Medical Educators, and the Director of Assessment for the Center for Education at BIDMC.  She is also an associate program director for the internal medicine residency at BIDMC, overseeing competency assessment.

Dr. Michael T. Fitch, MedEdPORTAL Senior Deputy Editor, is a Professor and Vice Chair for Academic Affairs in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the Wake Forest School of Medicine. Dr. Fitch received his undergraduate degree in Biology from the College of William and Mary, his PhD in Neurosciences from Case Western Reserve University, and an MD degree from Case Western Reserve University. He completed his residency training in Emergency Medicine at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina, and currently practices Emergency Medicine as an Attending Physician at the Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

An editorial board is appointed by the editor-in-chief to provide guidance on MedEdPORTAL peer review and editorial policies as well as the strategic priorities and positioning of the program. Each member of the MedEdPORTAL Publications Editorial Board is expected to (1) present unbiased, independent, and professional advice to the editor-in-chief, (2) maintain confidentiality about editorial board activities and discussion, and (3) sign a disclosure form to affirm that he or she has read, understands, and agrees to abide by the conflict of interest policy and to disclose any known conflicts or to state that no conflicts exist at the time. Conflicts of interest must be disclosed to the editor-in-chief who will determine how to manage, reduce, or eliminate the conflict.
