Welcome Jeannine Nonaillada, Associate Editor for Interprofessional Education

Nonaillada Headshot_r1.jpg Jeannine Nonaillada, PhD, OTR/L, BCG, FAOTA, is the assistant dean of faculty development and mentoring at NYU Long Island School of Medicine, as well as being an assistant professor there. She has been an occupational therapist since 2001 and holds board certification in gerontology from the American Occupational Therapy Association, a distinction held by less than 1% of all occupational therapists nationally. Dr. Nonaillada has an earned research doctorate in social work, with a concentration on aging. As a clinician, educator, and researcher, Dr. Nonaillada has been a longtime advocate of interprofessional education and ensuring all care providers have a seat at the table to guarantee quality, safety, and patient satisfaction. Prior to this associate editor appointment, she has served as a reviewer on several refereed journals in allied health and medical education and has authored a number of publications in these fields as well.
