Integrated Behavioral Health Education Collection

The MedEdPORTAL Integrated Behavioral Health Education Collection provides educators and institutions with peer-reviewed educational innovations to help health care professionals identify, treat, and prevent substance use and mental health disorders while emphasizing equitable care for all patients and communities. Publications in this collection feature educational innovations on key topics such as stigma reduction, interprofessional behavioral health care models, regular screening for early intervention, and cognitive behavioral therapy for anyone to adapt and implement.

This collection was developed through a partnership with the National Center for Integrated Behavioral Health in Primary Care (NCIBH) with support from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) of the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS; Award no. UH1HP29964 to Dr. Chyke Doubeni). The NCIBH was part of the HRSA Academic Units for Primary Care Training and Enhancement (AU-PCTE) program to bolster the primary care workforce to address the needs of vulnerable and rural populations. The publications are those of the authors and do not necessarily represent the official views of, or an endorsement, by HRSA, HHS, or the US Government.
