Description

There is an increased awareness that healthcare professional students, upon entry into practice, may require a specialized curriculum in the business aspects of healthcare to meet their personal and professional goals.

The Master of Science program in Healthcare Administration and Management (HCAM) is an online program offered at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, designed to augment student’s educational and professional experiences with business acumen to better plan for and respond to changes in the healthcare industry.

The program integrates best business practice with clinical practice to meet the challenges of a complex healthcare delivery system. Medical students can take this dual degree in conjunction with their medical coursework.

In an effort to reach more students, a student-initiated and student-run online Healthcare Administration and Management course has been developed.  This course is available as a fourth year medical student (M4) elective for students interested in supplementing their general medical school curricula, with healthcare administration and business topics.
