Welcome to the iCollaborative Web site (“iCollaborative,” “our site” or “this site”), owned and operated by the Association of American Medical Colleges (“AAMC,” “we” or “us”). iCollaborative includes www.mededportal.org/icollaborative.

Read this Agreement carefully before submitting to iCollaborative.

Acceptance of Terms and Conditions

These terms of use (“Terms”) govern your submission to the iCollaborative and by submitting materials to this site you signify your agreement to and acceptance of all the Terms set forth below. If you do not accept these Terms, you may not submit materials to this site.

The AAMC Web site Terms & Conditions and AAMC Privacy Statement are incorporated herein by reference. If a conflict exists between the AAMC Web site Terms and Conditions and the AAMC Privacy Statement and these Terms, these Terms shall take precedence.

By using this site, you also indicate your understanding that we may revise these Terms from time to time without providing notice to you. Your continued use of this site after we have revised the Terms will indicate that you accept them as revised. We recommend you review these Terms regularly.

Material Submission Requirements

You understand that the purpose of the iCollaborative is to create a centralized online web based resource focused on highlighting and sharing innovations spanning health education, delivery and research. You agree that your submission is consistent with this mission.

You agree that the parties listed on the iCollaborative Submission Form (collectively, the “Authors”) are aware of and agree to this submission and these Terms.

You agree that the information provided through the iCollaborative Submission Form is complete and accurate to the best of your knowledge.

You agree that the Authors hold all original copyrights to the materials submitted, or the Authors have obtained written permission from the copyright owner to make these materials available via a publicly accessible Web site, such as the iCollaborative. You represent that the materials submitted do not infringe on the patent or any other proprietary right of any third party.

You understand that your submission will be screened to ensure that it meets minimum inclusion criteria. Screening may include editors revising content to enhance its relevance, consistency, usability or to conform to AAMC publication standards. You understand that submitting materials to the iCollaborative does not guarantee that the materials will be reviewed, accepted or posted on the publicly accessible Web site. If the submission successfully passes screening it will be posted via a publicly accessible Web site. You agree that if your submission is accepted and posted via a publicly accessible Web site, it may be revised, as described above, or removed at any time and without notice to you at the discretion of AAMC staff.

You agree that if your submission is accepted and posted, you will participate in the online discussion generated by your resource and that AAMC staff may set up e-mail alerts to notify you of new comments.

Intellectual Property Grant

You hereby grant the AAMC a non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty free right to display, reproduce, disseminate, annotate, archive, backup, and otherwise promote the submission.

Further, you agree that your submission will be made available on the Web site and to the general public under the Creative Commons license Attribution-NonCommerical ( http://creativecommons.org/licenses/).

By submitting materials to iCollaborative you acknowledge and understand that the Terms set forth herein constitute a legally binding contract between you and AAMC and you agree to bound by these Terms.
