American Board of Medical Specialties
The AAMC and ABMS (American Board of Medical Specialties) have developed the ABMS MOC Directory to serve as an online directory of competency-based Maintenance of Certification (MOC) activities designed to meet requirements for MOC Part II Lifelong Learning and Self-Assessment and MOC Part IV Practice Assessment/Quality Improvement. ABMS works in collaboration with 24 specialty Member Boards to maintain the standards for physician certification. The organization focuses on improving the quality of health care to patients, families, and communities by supporting the continuous professional development of physician specialists. ABMS achieves its mission by helping physicians achieve their potential as providers of quality health care.
American Dental Education Association
The American Dental Education Association (ADEA) is the voice of dental education. Its members include all U.S. and Canadian dental schools and many allied and postdoctoral dental education programs, corporations, faculty, and students. The mission of ADEA is to lead individuals and institutions of the dental education community to address contemporary issues influencing education, research, and the delivery of oral health care for the health of the public. ADEA's activities encompass a wide range of research, advocacy, faculty development, meetings, and communications like the esteemed Journal of Dental Education, as well as the dental school admissions services AADSAS and PASS.
Portal of Geriatric Online Education
The Portal of Geriatric Online Education (POGOe) is a free public repository of a growing collection of geriatric educational materials in various e-learning formats, including lectures, exercises, virtual patients, case-based discussions, simulations, as well as links to other resources. POGOe's mission is to promote geriatric education through the provision and encouragement of free exchange of teaching and assessment materials that support the fields of geriatrics and gerontology. Funded by the Donald W. Reynolds Foundation, POGOe is managed by Mount Sinai School of Medicine, Department of Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine, on behalf of the Association of Directors of Geriatric Academic Programs (ADGAP). The site is a partnership between Mount Sinai and Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, Departments of Biomedical Informatics and Division of Geriatrics.
Society for Academic Emergency Medicine
The Society for Academic Emergency Medicine (SAEM) leads the advancement of emergency care through education and research, advocacy, and professional development in academic emergency medicine. Headquartered in Chicago, IL, SAEM is the academic voice of emergency medicine and has nearly 6,000 members from medical schools and teaching institutions in the United States and throughout the world. The Society brings together diverse individuals who are interested in the pursuit of knowledge and the promotion of academic emergency medicine and research in this field.
Interprofessional Education Collaborative
The AAMC, as a partner in the Interprofessional Education Collaborative (IPEC), has been awarded funding by the Josiah Macy Jr. Foundation to launch an interprofessional education portal in support of the IPEC report: Core Competencies for Interprofessional Collaborative Practice. This initiative is designed to create a national clearinghouse of competency-linked learning resources for interprofessional education and models of team-based or collaborative care. IPEC sponsors include the following organizations: American Association of Colleges of Nursing, American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine, American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy, American Dental Education Association, and Association of Schools of Public Health.

The American Psychological Association is the largest scientific and professional organization representing psychology in the United States. APA is the world's largest association of psychologists, with more than 134,000 researchers, educators, clinicians, consultants and students as its members. The APA seeks to advance the creation, communication and application of psychological knowledge to benefit society and improve people's lives.
