This resource is provided as software designed to be the first interaction of the student with Cephalometrics as a diagnostic procedure. It contains a brief introduction, anatomic structures needed for the analysis, landmarks, planes, angles, and an interactive area to input data from actual patients to get basic interpretation. It prepares the student for the practical activities. It is intended to be a complement to lectures, seminars, and labs on the topic. The authoring software used is Macromedia Authorware 5.0 Academic (non-commercial). Based on a student's survey, the content achieves the intended purpose effectively; the graphic interface and interactivity features makes it easier for them to understand the concepts.
To be able to provide students with an efficient tool for a better understanding of Cephalometrics analysis.
