Description

This is a curriculum intended for Radiology, Endocrinology, and Oncology residents, fellows, and faculty to learn the appropriate recommendations for thyroid nodule workup as seen on ultrasound based on the guidelines of Society of Radiologists in Ultrasound. After a brief introduction, 5 pretest nodules are followed by a review of guidelines and the key imaging features of thyroid nodules are reviewed. We then present 20 thyroid nodules as test cases with answers covering the breadth of commonly seen situations. We believe that after completing this module the reader will be able to manage thyroid nodules appropriately.
